Growing pains are over

The AmWorld business has grown. Really grown. In size and scale. We have successfully relocated to our new 60,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution centre in Colnbrook. Moving is never easy but sometimes it’s necessary. For us it was essential. We had outgrown our existing site and we were really excited about increasing our capacity, and looking at some new ideas to help improve how we manage our clients business needs. It would have been an easy decision to stay in our old premises, we liked them, but we had outgrown them. So it was time to make the investment in increased infrastructure and begin to co ordinate how we constructed the new plans for our move. All our teams were consulted about the move. The department heads and their teams have had input into shaping how logistics, customer service, specialist handling and the sales functions are integrated into our new building. We’ve made improvements and really increased our ability to take our client handling ability to the next level. During the next few weeks we will give you more insight into the changes we have made, our new technology and why we think we can add new clients to our existing national portfolio of Sony, EA Games, SAB Miller, Aberdeen Asset Management, Exposure and Jimmy Choo.
